Dwyane Wade makes significant progress in 30 day weight loss transformation

New, comments

Dwyane Wade's offseason training regiment has allowed him to drop significant weight as he prepares his body for next season. This should allow him to achieve the longevity over the course of the season that has eluded him for the last few years.

@DwyaneWade

It's no secret that Dwyane Wade has been proactively using his off-seasons to shed weight. This offseason he elected to utilize trainer Luther Freeman's #30DayTransformation method and the results speak for themselves. According to Wade's Instagram he's dropped from 228.2 pounds to 216.5 pounds in the last month, he also seems to paint his toenails, but we won't get into that.

Wade's continuous offseason weight loss is extremely beneficial for the shooting guard. Last year, LeBron James and Ray Allen were competing with Wade in a "Paleo" type diet challenge to lose weight and Wade delivered one of his best seasons in years.

With his recurring knee injuries, dropping weight allows him to remove pressure that would cause stress over the course of an 82-game season. The Miami Heat requires longevity from Wade in order to be competitive and hopefully his weight loss goes a long way in allowing that come next season.

Today made 30 days since I started the #30daytransformation with @lutherfreeman and @kathy_drayton ..I've had moments where I asked myself WHY haa. I now know what I need to do to lose the weight I want when I want.. now that my 30 days are over I must maintain this level of eating and make it a lyfestyle(w some cheat days) :-)).. thanks again to TEAMWADE for doing this with me and sooooo many others.
