Stanley Johnson
In almost every mock draft the Miami Heat have picked Stanley Johnson from Arizona. Recently, it looks as if Stanley Johnson may have picked Miami back.
According to Jonathon Givony from Draft Express:
Stanley Johnson reportedly refusing to work out for Charlotte, who are drafting 9th. Hoping to get picked by Detroit (#8) or Miami (#10).

While the Detroit Pistons could also use Johnson, Chad Ford says the Pistons seem to be mesmerized by Sam Dekker. Other mock drafts have them picking Mario Hezonja, Justise Winslow, or Willie Cauley-Stein due to the likely departure of Greg Monroe.
Now although the Charlotte Hornets are in need of shooting and could select Devin Booker, it's still surprising that Johnson would intently avoid working out with the Charlotte, just so he can be picked by the Heat.
"I love winning. To have guys like Dwyane Wade, Luol Deng and Hassan Whiteside on the team and be on a team that already knows they want to win next season - bringing my contribution to that team would be great." said Johnson during the NBA Draft Combine weekend.
According to ESPN's pay-only Insider section, here's what college basketball analyst Jay Bilas said of Johnson:
"Johnson is built like a linebacker and is very good in transition, on the glass and driving the ball. Johnson is not what I would call a natural player. Rather, he is a natural athlete. The one area where Johnson can excel is on defense. He is an NBA-ready wing who plays hard, and has the tools in every area except in shooting the ball."
Anyone that Miami ends up picking -- whether it be Dekker, Johnson Booker or someone else -- they must be able to make an immediate impact for the team because they will most likely be thrown into the rotation quickly . In Johnson's case that could very well mean coming in for Luol Deng or Dwyane Wade.
