Free agency has started out hot for the Miami Heat, as ironic as that may be.
After reportedly signing Goran Dragic to a 5 year $90 million deal (the Heat can't officially sign Dragic until July 9th) they now need to focus on Dwyane Wade.
While Wade has of course been linked to the Los Angeles Lakers, it now appears as if Miami has decided to take care of him early as they progress in talks regarding a multi-year deal, according to Adrian Wojnarowsk of Yahoo Sports.
Free agent Dwyane Wade and Miami are progressing in talks on a likely multi-year deal, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

It's unclear at this moment in time whether or not this "multi-year deal" is the max deal Woj mentioned in an earlier report today, however it does provide some security that Miami is working to make sure their star shooting guard remains with the team.
Whatever the case, we'll keep you updated on the ever-evolving situation.
