The South Florida Sun-Sentinel's Ira Winderman reported Friday that the Miami Heat have partially guaranteed guard Tyler Johnson's contract. He will receive at least half of his $845,059 salary for the 2015-16 season.

Winderman also reported that the scrappy point guard has recovered quickly from a jaw injury he sustained during the Orlando Pro Summer League. He has resumed weight training and light shooting
