ESPN Panel predicts Heat to finish 4th in Eastern Conference

New, comments

Each summer, ESPN takes some time for their "experts" to predict what's going to happen. Right now, they've got the Heat as 4th best in the East.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls and Atlanta Hawks are all slated to finish with a better record than the Miami Heat next season. That's according to over 200+ members of ESPN's summer forecast crew.

With the first of many predictions to come this summer, they took the East as the first one. Last year, Miami finished with a 37-45 record, this year, they are predicting 47-35.

That's good news for the fans, seeing that the expectation is that Miami will be drastically better than they were last season. And Mike Wallace is right, health is going to be a huge factor into that.

Both Atlanta and Chicago are predicting to win 50 games, and Cleveland is slated to win 59 games to win the East. Taking Miami from out of the playoffs to home court advantage is a great swing.

But...

Are we expecting more?
