Not only are several Miami Heat players bonding out in Los Angeles, as evidenced by several photos and videos distributed via social media over the past weekend, they are also back to work and getting some valuable early practice time.
Hassan Whiteside posted a group photo on Tuesday at the conclusion of an informal workout session conducted by none other than head coach Erik Spoelstra along with assistant coaches David Fizdale, Keith Smart and Juwan Howard. Along with Whiteside and coaching staff, rookie Justise Winslow appears alongside Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Gerald Green, Mario Chalmers, Josh McRoberts, Udonis Haslem and James Ennis.
Ennis was already in Southern California to hone his basketball skills with outside trainers, with the rest of the players all arriving the past several days.
For a team that had almost zero continuity last season with so much roster shuffling and multiple injuries, it appears that this time the Heat aren't wasting any time getting their mix of new and returning players up to speed.
