The Miami Heat are on the verge of coming to an agreement to have their training camp at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. Last year, the Heat stayed at home in the AmericanAirlines Arena for camp, but now are continuing the tradition of getting away for their week of camp that could include up to 20 players.
The news was first informed by Ira Winderman of the Sun-Sentinel. You can view his article on it here.

This will be a return to Palm Beach County. Back in 2010 the Heat went to Hurlburt Field Air Base in North Florida and in 2013 they finished with a nice camp in the Bahamas. With a group of returning players and a few new ones, getting away can be a good thing for the team.
Currently, the Heat have 19 players coming to camp, with room for one more player to be invited. It seems that James Ennis will be battling the other non-guaranteed contracts for a chance to be on the roster. While the rest of the group will be working to create some chemistry as the team will begin pre-season play on October 4.
Training camp for the Heat will begin at the end of this month.
