In response to feedback from season ticket holders and fans, the Miami Heat announced Wednesday that four home games at the AmericanAirlines Arena for the 2015-16 NBA season will tip-off 30 minutes later than originally scheduled.
The following four weekend games will begin at 8:00pm local time instead of 7:30pm, presumably to give fans a little more time to get to their seats earlier:
Saturday, November 21, 2015
Heat vs. Philadelphia 76ers
Saturday, December 5, 2015
Heat vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
Friday, December 18, 2015
Heat vs. Toronto Raptors
Friday, March 25, 2016
Heat vs. Orlando Magic
The team notes that only the start times for these games this season were able to be modified due to "team scheduling and/or other NBA obligations" but that start times for home games in future seasons "will be evaluated at a later date".
