Miami Heat reserve guard Gerald Green has always been known for his athleticism and dunking ability but if his Instagram account is any indication, he's more than ready to display it for his new fans at the AmericanAirlines Arena.
Green has been working out steadily at the Heat's practice court since signing with the team earlier in the offseason.
After joining the team, he spoke of reuniting with former Phoenix Suns teammate Goran Dragic, who looks to be the perfect compliment to Green's leaping abilities in transition.
"I'm so excited to play with him again," he said. "It's not even funny. I played my best basketball (with him). I think we played really good with each other. I never had anybody make me better like that."
Green has participated in several dunking contests as an amateur and professional player. He won the 2005 McDonald's All-American Slam Dunk Contest and the 2007 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. He finished runner-up to Dwight Howard the following year after blowing out a candle mid-air in one dunk and also performing another dunk without his shoes.
