Several local sports personalities and entertainment celebrities including Miami Heat legend Alonzo Mourning and All-Star Chris Bosh joined international soccer star David Beckham along with his good friend and entrepreneur Simon Fuller for a Haig Club Single Grain Scotch Whisky private event in Miami.
Bosh and Mourning arrived at the event on Tuesday night with their wives Adrienne and Tracey, respectively, as well as plenty of stars including Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill and his wife Lauren, Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen and his wife Larsa, actress Dascha Polanco ("Orange Is The New Black") and actor Chadwick Boseman.
Guests were treated to cocktails and a five-course dinner to celebrate the arrival of the "pop-up" Haig Club inside an estate in Miami, which will continue to be located there for several days as part of a global tour in several cities.
"Miami is one of my favorite cities and it's a place which means a lot to me," Beckham said. "It has such energy and vibrancy - people here are always looking for new experiences and so it's great to be able to present Haig Club here in this way for friends old and new."
