Welcome to our weekly forecast of weekend fantasy basketball! Every Friday, check here for some insight into the best FanDuel plays for the weekend. This Holiday weekend, we have some advice for you!

FRIDAY (New Years Day)
HIGH - Kyle Lowry vs the Hornets
Hornets have one of the better defenses vs point guards, but Lowry is a special breed. At home, I like his chances to not only distribute but score. He's been on a roll.

MID - Dirk Nowitzki vs the Heat
The problem here is that Dirk will play plenty of minutes against Heat small ball of Deng or Winslow on him. When that happens, he has the advantage to shoot over the top. I like him for a mid play here today.

LOW - Isaiah Canaan vs the Lakers
Lakers are giving up the most fantasy points vs point guards this season. He will be a low buy that could score well on the road for the Sixers.

SATURDAY
HIGH - LeBron James vs the Magic
At home, LeBron should be worth every penny. I think the Magic will be able to keep it close enough for LeBron to play plenty and score an all-around game.

MID - Klay Thompson vs the Nuggets
Denver is a bottom 5 team vs shooting guards in fantasy scoring. Klay is a good mid range pickup to score you plenty in a high scoring game.

LOW - Jamal Crawford vs the Sixers
Likely a blowout with Sixers on a back-to-back so Crawford should get extended time. He can score and do it fast, a good small buy to play here.

SUNDAY
HIGH - Chris Bosh vs the Wizards
He's not a truly high option, usually around $7,300 but he's been playing great lately. The Wizards will also have to be diligent to stay out on him. They went super small last time, either way, Bosh should see the ball plenty.

MID - Brandon Knight vs the Lakers
Again, Lakers...bad point guard defense. Without Eric Bledsoe, more to shoulder for Knight, he should be a good play here.

LOW - Tyler Johnson vs the Wizards
He's getting his groove back, and he's so cheap it only takes a good night to make him really worth it. With Wizards small ball attempt, he could see extra time and get plenty of points.
