The BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge this year will feature two 10-man rosters, one for the U.S. and one for team World -- each made up of first and second year players.
Justise Winslow and Tyler Johnson were both eligible, and were both bypassed for the opportunity. In fact, only 3 U.S. rookies made the cut: Jahlil Okafor, Karl-Anthony Towns and D'Angelo Russell -- the top 3 picks of the draft.
Here's the roster for TEAM USA
Here's the roster for TEAM WORLD
This game will take place on Friday night of All-Star weekend in Toronto.
Every rookie playing in this game is on a team with a losing record -- while players like Winslow who have contributed to a winning atmosphere are bypassed.
Is that right? Let us know what you think of the rosters and the choices to leave Winslow and Johnson at home.
