Game Story:
In their third preseason game, the Miami Heat will take on the Brooklyn Nets in Miami at 7:30PM. Both the Nets and Heat look very different from last year, but should still deliver an interesting match-up.
This will be the first preseason home game for the Heat, a day after holding their annual team scrimmage for charity.
According to Ira Winderman of the Sun-Sentinel, the organization will also be honoring the late great Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez before the game.
Heat players will warm up for the game in special shooting shirts that include a Heat logo, Fernandez's initials and his No. 16 in a black circle.
There also will be a moment of silence to honor Fernandez, who died in a boating accident Sept. 25, the day before the Heat began their training camp.
Tonight, the @MiamiHEAT will pay tribute to a special guy with these shooting shirts. #JDF16 pic.twitter.com/hOvjZUAG1f
