In September, Josh Richardson suffered a partially torn MCL in knee. Since then Josh has been in a rigorous rehabilitation program and now at the tail end of his six to eight week timetable he is finally set to make his return.
Sources: Miami's Josh Richardson has been cleared by team doctors to make season debut tonight in Toronto after MCL tear in September.— Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) November 4, 2016
Richardson will most likely face a minutes restriction tonight, but his playing time should ramp up from there as his conditioning improves. It’s likely that we see Richardson in the starting lineup soon.
Josh was an essential part of Miami’s playoff run last season and key component of their young core. His return is very exciting.
The Heat play tonight in Toronto at 7:30PM.
