As the Miami Heat sift through a tough 10-20 start to the season, many options could be on the table as we approach February’s trading deadline. One option could possibly involve moving starting point guard Goran Dragic.

Per Chris Mannix of The Vertical:

Despite the team struggles, Dragic has had a very solid season with Miami averaging over 19 points a game, 6 assists and 4 rebounds. Unfortunately that hasn’t been enough as Miami is currently 13th in the Eastern Conference.

Dragic was acquired by the Miami Heat in February 2015 right at the trading deadline and the prevailing thought was that he was “the missing piece” for Miami to maintaining title contender status. But with Dwyane Wade bolting to the Chicago Bulls in July, and worse — Chris Bosh’s medical dilemma during Goran’s entire Heat career, it has resulted in the Miami Heat reverting back into a situation they are not really familiar with. Rebuilding mode.

This story is still developing by the day so keep checking Hot Hot Hoops for updates on the Goran Dragic trade rumors.
