Sam Amick of USA Today has reported that the host city of the 2018 NBA All-Star weekend is down to a few options and Miami is one of them.
Los Angeles is the likely destination and Indianapolis is also in the mix.
For those who froze at All Stars the past two years, there's hope on the horizon: LA the likely location for 2018 https://t.co/LHqdvbaAPt

L.A. has hosted the weekend before and as early as 2011. Miami was the host in 1990 but has never hosted the All-Star weekend at AmericanAirlines Arena and Indianapolis hasn't since the 80's. Indy, though has hosted the Super Bowl and multiple Final Fours and NCAA tournament games. Miami has to deal with the situation of the Boat Show that's typically in town.
The city of Miami would have a lot to offer, but it seems the NBA may be going in a different direction at least for now. Charlotte will host the weekend in 2017.
