The Heat got two really good wins against two teams that are battling for the last playoff spot in the East, the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons. Now, they will have a home and home series with in-state Orlando Magic, who are eliminated from postseason contention.
The Heat have four games remaining with Detroit and Boston after these two games.
Game Details:
Miami Heat (46-32) @ Orlando Magic (33-45)
7:00 PM EST at the Amway Center in Orlando, FL
TV: Fox Sports Sun / Radio: 790
The Magic will be without Aaron Gordon (concussion), but will welcome Nikola Vucevic back into the starting lineup for this game. The Heat hold their own destiny in their hands. If Miami wins the four remaining games, they will be the 3rd seed in the Eastern Conference. If not, they are even in jeopardy of ending up in 6th place.
Goran Dragic | PG | Elfrid Payton |
Dwyane Wade | SG | Victor Oladipo |
Joe Johnson | SF | Mario Hezonja |
Luol Deng | PF | Ersan Ilyasova |
Amare Stoudemire | C | Nikola Vucevic |
Orlando has nothing to play for, in fact maybe some to lose if they actually win (lottery position). Who knows what to expect. We can't downplay that the Heat are on a back-to-back, but Miami should win this without too many problems.
