After bolting Miami for Cleveland two years ago, LeBron James has helped the Cavaliers win their first NBA championship after beating the Golden State Warriors in a thrilling seven-game NBA Finals series. Just moments afterwards, Heat owner Micky Arison and former teammate and good friend Dwyane Wade, who was at the Oracle Arena to witness Sunday's game, were among the first to send their congratulations to James.

Chris Bosh chimed in as well after Game 7.

Justise Winslow was quick to congratulate fellow former Duke player Kyrie Irving and the Cavs for their historic win.

Josh Richardson congratulated his former University of Tennessee teammate Jordan McRae, a reserve guard for the Cavs, as well as James and the team on the victory.

Legendary sharpshooter and NBA Finals hero Ray Allen also celebrated the victory for his two former Heat teammates LeBron and James Jones.

Veteran point guard Beno Udrih, who last played for the Heat before going down with a season-ending injury, also congratulated the Cavs for securing their first title after 52 years.

Last but not least, Hassan Whiteside had this somewhat cryptic message after the NBA Finals wrapped up.
