Free agent guard Dion Waiters has reportedly signed with the Miami Heat to bolster their backcourt. The two-year, nearly $6 million has a player option for the second season, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.
Waiters, though often regarded as an average player had a decent showing in Oklahoma City where he averaged 9.8 points, and 2.8 rebounds. Waiters is athletic, and the stability of the Miami Heat organization should allow him to continue to develop. Keep in mind Waiters is only 24 years old, and was selected 4th in the 2012 NBA Draft.
