Throughout the last two years Hassan Whiteside has been tied to the NBA 2K brand despite not being an official spokesman of the video game itself. After his breakout game against the Chicago Bulls in 2015, Whiteside casually exclaimed that he was trying to get his 2K rating up.
Since then, Whiteside has been an avid player of the video game as made apparent by his Snapchat. With that being said, Whiteside doesn't have time for quitters. Yesterday he tweeted "Stop asking me to play 2K" attaching a video of him upset about his opponent rage quitting mid game.

Whiteside is one of the Miami Heat's most polarizing players, and his Snapchat is gold. The narrative regarding this incident may shift to why is Whiteside focused on 2K and not his actual game, but that's foolish (especially in the offseason). Suffice to say, the 27-year-old Whiteside is a force to be reckoned with on the court, and online.
