Haslem thinks there is a chance Wade could finish his career in Miami

When asked whether or not he and Wade could still finish their careers together, Udonis was quick not to rule out a possible Wade return.

At Dwyane Wade’s commUNITY bike ride through Coconut Grove today, Udonis Haslem was asked by Miami Herald beat writer Manny Navarro whether or not he and Wade could possibly finish their careers together somewhere else. Udonis replied candidly saying:

“I’m a damn sure try... I mean I don’t know, I guess I gotta wait until next summer to see how that goes, but I definitely never gave up without a fight so ain’t no time to start now.”

Haslem quickly dispelled rumors in response to Navarro’s follow up asking whether or not he actually would leave Miami, explaining:

“Oh I ain’t say that, I was thinking more of him coming here, I would never say that (laughing) when I said play with him here, I never said leave. He’s (Wade) trying to sell his house down here, I might just buy it and hold it for him.”
