Original post:
Hassan Whiteside is being listed as doubtful for Monday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He has missed the previous 4 games (Heat are 2-2) and has only played the season opener.
Whiteside did only non-contact drills on Sunday and therefore is not likely to play until he can at least get some contact in. He has been working to a return soon.
Whiteside banged his knee in the opener and the Heat are taking a very cautious approach to his return.
The Heat have started both Jordan Mickey and Bam Adebayo in his absence.
Miami plays Minnesota at 7:30 PM EST in Miami.
