Dion Waiters missed the Miami Heat’s Sunday matinee against the Los Angles Clippers due to the birth of his daughter, Dior Raina Waiters.

Justise Winslow entered the Heat’s starting lineup to replace Waiters. Derrick Walton Jr., who is on a two-way contract with the Heat, is active today.

Waiters has a $1.1 million bonus in his contract if he plays in at least 70 games, so he could return to the Heat’s road trip after today’s game. Waiters played just 46 games for the Heat last year, battling an assortment of injuries.
