The Miami Heat may be without Justise Winslow for a week or more according to Shams Charania.

Already without Rodney McGruder, Okaro White, and Hassan Whiteside in the frontcourt as of today, the Heat face a repeat of last season’s injury-plagued season. Games coming up this week include,
- Charlotte Hornets 12/15 (road)
- Los Angeles Clippers 12/16 (home)
- Atlanta Hawks 12/18 (road)
- Boston Celtics 12/20 (road)
- Dallas Mavericks 12/22 (home)
- New Orleans Pelicans 12/23 (home)
Whether Winslow misses all of those seven games remains unclear, per Ira Winderman.
"I wouldn't even say that right now," he said of the one-week estimate. "We'll just see how he responds to the work."
Depending on when Whiteside returns, an 8-man rotation doesn’t leave much margin for error in case of unforeseen in-game injuries. Especially with Dion Waiters’ nagging elbow and ankle problems, and Bam Adebayo still learning about life in the NBA (refer to Lonzo Ball), relying on the continued health of a tight rotation can be risky.
