According to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports the Miami Heat are planning to sigh Derrick Jones Jr. to a two way deal.

That means he’ll mostly be part of the G-League on the SkyForce. Jones Jr. was a part of the Phoenix Suns for the first month of the NBA season, before being assigned and recalled from the G-League multiple times. He was formally waived by the Suns 24 days ago.
In the G-League Jones Jr. averaged 15.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.2 steals, it’s unclear how much time he’ll spend on Miami’s active roster because as per CBS Sports, he can’t spend more than 45 days on Miami’s roster.
