The Miami Heat announced Tuesday that forward Okaro White has been recalled to the team after a quick assignment to the Sioux Falls Skyforce last week.

The roster transaction was made so that White’s return to the active roster of the Heat’s NBA Development League affiliate team would allow him to participate in the D-League All-Star Game on Saturday. He totaled four points, two rebounds and two assists in just under 16 minutes of action.

Meanwhile, fellow D-League All-Star Marcus Georges-Hunt’s 10-day contract ended with the Heat and he has since returned to the D-League’s Maine Red Claws. The 6’-5” guard was originally signed Feb. 8 and did not appear in any games.

Miami doesn’t play until Friday on the road against the Atlanta Hawks but they will reconvene tomorrow for their first practice at the AmericanAirlines Arena since their impressive 117-109 road win against the Houston Rockets last Wednesday.
