HHH GameTime Preview: Heat head north to face Magic

New, comments

Miami can’t afford any setbacks in their push towards making the playoffs.

NBA: Orlando Magic at Miami Heat Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

The Miami Heat and the Orlando Magic meet for the fourth and final time this season at the Amway Center tonight. Miami won the first match-up 108-96 in the season opener but Orlando has been the victor the past two games in a thrilling 136-130 2OT win on December 20 as well as the recent 116-107 win on February 13.

It remains to be seen who will actually suit up for the Heat tonight. Josh McRoberts and Justise Winslow remain out, of course, but it’s unknown which of Miami’s active players will be able to play. Willie Reed is listed as questionable with right ankle bursitis, but it would be a bit of surprise if he was already healthy enough to go at it tonight. Dion Waiters is also questionable with a left ankle soreness while Rodney McGruder (left quad contusion) and Hassan Whiteside (sick) are listed as probable.

For the Magic, Jodie Meeks (right thumb repair) is out and C.J. Watson (sore right Achilles) is questionable.

The Magic are currently 10-20 at home while the Heat are 13-19 on the road this season.
