The results for the 2017 NBA draft lottery are in and the Boston Celtics walk away with the top pick in the draft and the Los Angeles Lakers will pick second for a third straight year.
As expected, the Miami Heat will pick No. 14 in what is widely regarded as a deep draft and they have an excellent chance of selection a quality player. Or they could trade him after the draft (just not before). Alonzo Mourning, the Heat’s representative at the draft lottery, could only shake his head when his team’s name was called out first.
