The first ever NBA Awards show goes live tonight at 9 pm on TNT and NBA.com/NBAawards, with the Heat’s Erik Spoelstra as nominee for Coach of the Year and Hassan Whiteside for Block of the Year.

Heat fans proudly stand behind them: nobody does it better with wins and blocks.

Spoelstra spends time with Wayne Ellington, James Johnson and Dion Waiters off the court as well as on the court, building a culture unique to the NBA.

Meantime in France, Hassan takes his turn telling us about another type of culture.

Official free agency negotiations begin Saturday, with the signings soon thereafter. We’ll see who goes and who stays as part of the Miami Heat Culture next season. The bonds among Heat family runs deep and true, with Josh Richardson and Okaro White sharing their passion for fashion.
