The Miami Heat signed forward Erik McCree, the Heat’s official Twitter account announced Monday.
McCree went undrafted after spending three seasons at Louisiana Tech. Over the course of his college career, McCree averaged 14.9 points and 7.3 rebounds.
The signing gives the Heat 19 players under contract. Teams can have as many as 20 players under contract at the start of training camp.
According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel’s Ira Winderman, McCree signed with designation on playing for the Heat’s developmental league affiliate team, the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
