Dwyane Wade reaches buyout with Bulls, Heat a favorite

Dwyane Wade has reached a buyout with the Chicago Bulls. He will soon be an unrestricted free agent and able to sign anywhere he wants, if they will have him.

And guess who is one of the favorites? The Miami Heat. But Miami will have some serious competition for Wade as the Cavaliers and Spurs will also be interested and maybe even Oklahoma City.

Woj adds that Cleveland is the out front favorite.

The Heat roster has one spot open for Wade but it would come at a price. Miami already has plenty of competition at the guard and wing position, and plenty of money invested as well.

Earlier reports said that the Heat would want Wade to tax MLE or less and settle for a bench role. Cavs, Spurs and even Thunder could potentially offer starting roles. But that is yet to be seen.

Wade gave back about $8 million of his contract to reach the buyout. Clearly he wanted out.

Training camps start next week, but it unclear when Wade will decide.

Now that he is available, do you want Miami to sign him or would you like to see Wade play somewhere else?
