Game Preview: Heat host Blazers in Miami

New, comments

The Heat look to build upon its blowout win against the Knicks as it takes on the the Blazers tonight at 8PM.

NBA: Miami Heat at Portland Trail Blazers Troy Wayrynen-USA TODAY Sports

Game Preview:

Despite a slow start against the Knicks on Wednesday, the Heat rallied and put up a very impressive third quarter to blow them out. Miami was dealing with their fair share of injuries, but playing really only one game this week has let ailing players heal.

Ira has listed James Johnson and Dion Waiters as inactive, but Miami’s official game notes don’t confirm Johnson’s absence. He’s practiced all week. We’ll know more closer to tip off. This should be a good one to watch, and if Miami’s start stays consistent, it could go down to the wire.

Probable Starters

Miami: Goran Dragic, Rodney McGruder, Josh Richardson, Derrick Jones Jr., Hassan Whiteside

Injuries: James Johnson, Dion Waiters

Portland : Al-Farouq Aminu, Jake Layman, CJ McCollum, Damian Lillard, Jusuf Nurkic

Injuries: Anfernee Simmons, Gary Trent Jr.
