The sooner the Miami Heat can forget about their last game, a blowout loss to the Utah Jazz, the better and a new opportunity to get this long road trip back on track is here with tonight’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Heat started the trip with two victories before losing to the L.A. Lakers and then the Jazz in dispiriting fashion, continuing their season-long trend of taking one step forward and two steps back. Can they put it together and close out their trip with two stronger performances?
Meanwhile, the Grizzlies have lost six of their last ten games but are coming off a win against the Portland Trail Blazers in a low scoring affair. In fact, they’ve only scored more than 100 points just once in their last six games, so maybe their slower pace will favor the Heat’s style a bit more to coach Erik Spoelstra’s liking.
