GAME PREVIEW: Heat look to win 5th straight as they visit the Magic

New, comments

The Miami Heat visit the Orlando Magic in their final game before Christmas.

NBA: Orlando Magic at Miami Heat Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

The Miami Heat (15-16) are looking to extend a season-best 4-game win streak when they visit the Orlando Magic (14-17). The Heat passed the Magic for the 8th spot in the standings last night, and a win here would really help move them forward to a better positioning. Orlando has already beaten Miami twice this season, so this is no easy task. The Heat scored only 94 points, although in a win last night, as they search for offense without Goran Dragic.

What To Watch For

The Zone Defense
The Miami Heat have been inploring a zone defense for different stretches of games and it has helped disrupt the flow and pick and roll motions of teams. Orlando is a NBA-average 35% team from three and so this should be a good move for the Heat.
