The up and coming BIG3 basketball tournament has revealed their 2018 season schedule and it includes a stop at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami on July 20.
Featuring a multitude of “the sport’s biggest and most iconic names” as players and/or coaches, BIG3 brings three-on-three basketball to new cities in their second season across 10 weeks. Former Miami Heat player Amar’e Stoudemire as well as Metta World Peace, Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis, Carlos Boozer, Drew Gooden, Nate Robinson and Baron Davis have also signed on for the new season.
Other former Heat players that participated in the inaugural season include Rashard Lewis, Ricky Davis, Mike Bibby, Jason Williams, Jermaine O’Neal, Mike James, Gary Payton and Rasual Butler.
BIG3 games will also now be broadcast live on FOX Broadcast Network and FS1 all season long.
“During the offseason, we heard from BIG3 fans all over the country who want to see their favorite ballers come to their cities. People are really pumped up to see some of their beloved NBA greats play the game of basketball at the professional level again,” said BIG3 co-Founder and co-CEO Ice Cube in a press release.
