The Miami Heat didn’t have Dwyane Wade or Hassan Whiteside in last night’s 115-99 loss to the Portland Trail-Blazers. They may not have them back for the Heat’s next game, Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings.
Heat listing Wade (hamstring) and Whiteside (hip) as out for tomorrow's game against Kings.— Tom D'Angelo (@tomdangelo44) March 13, 2018
It’s important to note, though, that Anthony Chiang of the Palm Beach Post reported that the listing could change based on how Wade and Whiteside react to treatment and how comfortable they feel during the team’s shoot-around Wednesday morning.
The good news is that neither injury -- a mild left hamstring strain for Wade, a strained left hip for Whiteside — is considered serious. Hopefully they’re both back on the court before the Heat’s current West coast road trip to help Miami climb the playoff ladder.
