It looks like the Miami Heat will have to go without Dwyane Wade and Hassan Whiteside for a little longer.

After they missed all three games of the Heat’s just-completed West coast road trip, both Wade and Whiteside are listed as “out” for Miami’s home game against the Denver Nuggets tomorrow. Josh Richardson, who returned from a one-game absence in Friday’s win over the Los Angeles Lakers, is no longer listed on the injury report.

While still holding onto the eighth seed, Miami remains capable of climbing up the seedings with a strong finish. The Heat are a half-game behind the Milwaukee Bucks for the seventh seed and just three games behind the Washington Wizards for the fourth seed. Getting a better playoff seed and increasing their chances of winning their first-round series won’t be far off if the Heat string together a nice winning streak.

The 10th-seeded Denver Nuggets are a game-and-a-half behind the New Orleans Pelicans for the eighth seed in the Western Conference. Tomorrow’s game will feature two teams fighting for playoff positioning. Unfortunately for the Heat, they’ll be without two key players.
