The Miami Heat just set a franchise record for the most three-points shots made in one season, surpassing last year’s franchise setting team.
Last season, the Heat made a franchise best 808 threes. And in the first half against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Heat made number 809 to set a new franchise record. These past two season have been the only ones with over 800 made threes, with third place being the 2013 NBA Champion team with 717 made threes.
This season the Heat have 4 players who have made over 100 three-pointers in Goran Dragic, Tyler Johnson, Josh Richardson and led by over 200 from Wayne Ellington.
