Game Preview: Heat host Cavaliers in important matchup

New, comments

The Heat look to stop a two game losing skid tonight against LeBron and the Cavs.

NBA: Miami Heat at Cleveland Cavaliers David Richard-USA TODAY Sports

Game Story:

It’s always a big deal any time LeBron comes to town. There’s history in the Heat’s house for him, two championship banners and two Final’s MVPs. Miami arguably had LeBron James for his prime years, but at 33 he’s still making a case for being the best player in the world.

This will be the first time the Heat face this “new look” Cavs team since DWade’s return from Cleveland to the Heat. For Miami, this game is very important as they look to stop a two game skid and reclaim the 7th seed from the Bucks.

The history between these two teams, make this one worth tuning into, but hopefully the Heat put their feelings aside until after the final whistle.

Probable Starters:

  • Josh Richardson
  • James Johnson
  • Bam Adebayo
