Yahoo! Sports’ Shams Charania reported Saturday that Josh Richardson suffered a sprained acromioclavicular (AC) joint in his left shoulder during today’s Game 4 against the Philadelphia 76ers. Charania said that Richardson plans to play in Tuesday’s Game 5, an elimination game for Miami after falling down 3-1 in the series.
Sources: Miami guard Josh Richardson has suffered a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder, but plans to play in Game 5 on Tuesday. Richardson has been one of NBA's top defensive players.

Richardson went to the locker room after he and Joel Embiid collided with each other going after a loose ball in the second quarter. The Heat’s best two-way player returned for the second half, but dangled his arm a few times in the second half, signaling discomfort.
The South Florida Sun Sentinel’s Ira Winderman reported that the Heat officially called Richardson’s injury a contusion, a more minor type of injury. But Winderman soon said that another NBA source also called the injury a sprain.
Heat are saying it is not a sprain, but just a contusion. https://t.co/N70YPFEASh

And now NBA source close to Richardson said it is, indeed, a sprained AC joint, contrary to Heat report. https://t.co/fPufmZTdie
