After injuring his shoulder in a collision with Joel Embiid and Hassan Whiteside, Josh Richardson is officially being listed questionable for tomorrow’s matchup.
This might be surprising given the fact that Josh returned to the game after the collision and proceeded to set a Heat playoff record with 7 steals. Still, with injuries they usually hurt more the next couple days after.
Josh Richardson had a Heat playoff record with 7 steals in Game 4. He is 2nd among all postseason players with 2.8 steals per game, and 2nd in deflections at 4.8 per game. pic.twitter.com/c1sXegeULb

In a report by Shandel Richardson of the Sun Sentinel, Richardson had this to say about the injury:
“It feels good right now.” “I’ve been getting a lot of treatment. We’ll see what happens. It was a little sore, but nothing too heavy.”
“I just know that it didn’t feel great after the loose ball happened,” Richardson said. “I went to the back and got it checked out.”
“Everything in me wants to play (Tuesday),” Richardson said. “I’m definitely going to give it my best shot.”
Erik Spoelstra also commented on the injury saying:
“It’s a sprain.” “Obviously the adrenaline was pumping. He made some big plays after that. You tend to feel that the next day and the day after. It’s too early to tell. We’ll know more in the next 24 hours.”
Josh has been a major contributor for the Heat this season and into the playoffs. Him missing tomorrow’s game would be a huge issue for the Heat. Let’s hope he’s feeling pretty good come tipoff.
