The 23 year-old played in 23 games for the Miami Heat this past season, starting in 3 games. He averaged 12.3 minutes and 4 points per game for the Heat.
Mickey didn’t figure into the Heat’s plans for the future, and it seems as though they will be moving on.
The Heat now have 5 free agents: Dwyane Wade, Udonis Haslem, Wayne Ellington, Luke Babbitt and Jordan Mickey. They can carry 15 full salary players into opening night in October.
