Juwan Howard will once again interview for a vacant head coaching position. After losing out to former Heat assistant, David Fizdale for the Knicks’ head coaching spot, Juwan Howard now has permission from Miami to interview for the Detroit head coach position.

Like David Fizdale, or even more recently Shane Battier, it’s common in the Heat organization to let staff members interview elsewhere for promotions.
The shortlist for the Detroit head coaching position has been all over the map in reports, so it will be interesting to see what happens with Juwan.
