When Dwyane Wade, a good friend of LeBron James, said that he didn’t think James’ upcoming free agency decision would be all about basketball, the Internet ran with it. ESPN’s official Twitter account quoted him.

People speculated after Wade’s comments (including myself), asking if he would want to settle in to his Los Angeles home and play for the Lakers. And today, Wade went on Twitter to say that he “doesn’t have any inside information” about his friend’s decision.
Let’s let the record show.. I don’t have any inside information whatsoever about his decision! https://t.co/qgm6znLWzk

Now that we’re nearing the July 1 start of free agency, NBA Twitter will seize on any semblance of a hint of James’ thinking. Remember the discussion about the plane Dan Gilbert took to talk to James in South Florida in 2014 after excoriating him in his infamous letter in 2010?
