As of right now, the Heat will be doing a lot of watching during tonight’s NBA Draft. Without a pick thanks to the Goran Dragic trade a few seasons ago, the only way the Heat pick tonight, is if they trade in. According to Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel, this is not an impossibility.
Amid speculation of Heat trying to deal into first round, this is Heat's Chet Kammerer to Sun Sentinel recently in advance of draft, "You may be able to make a trade and get a pick in the 20s, for example, you never know. So you have to be prepared for everything."

It’s unclear what the Heat may be willing to give up to get into the draft, but they have been draft magicians in years past (see Josh Richardson). The Heat have been active at the draft combine and obviously have their eyes set on certain players. Now, does that mean that the right situation works out? No, but there’s always a chance.
Miami’s draft moves remain ambiguous tonight, but Heat fans should still tune in. Just in case.
