Is Dwyane Wade recruiting Paul George?

The summer of speculation continues, this time with Dwyane Wade talking free agency with UFA Paul George. Wade posted about their meeting on Instagram saying:

Great convo with my guy @ygtrece about his upcoming free agency! I appreciate you sitting down with me to talk about this important decision in your life!#nbabrotherhood

So what does this mean for the Heat? Probably nothing. Honestly, the Heat are restricted by its lack of cap space, and unless major contracts come off the books (i.e Whiteside and Tyler Johnson) it won’t have enough money to sign a max player.

Still, it’s interesting to see Wade, who hasn’t committed on returning to the league for next season meet with a younger superstar like George. This is probably no more than a mentor/mentee relationship, but I mean if Paul George is suddenly on the Heat next season I’ll more than eat my words.
