There were rumors that a team in the CBA would be willing to offer Dwyane Wade a monster contract to lure him away from the NBA. Recently, Wade signed a lifetime deal with his shoe company Li-Ning, based in China.

And now, the report is out that the Zhejiang Golden Bulls of the CBA in China have offered Wade a 3-year, $25 million contract.

That’s a monster contract for a few reasons.

First, there are no teams (not even the Miami Heat) that would offer him a contract for that many years at age 36. Secondly, that amount of money is most likely not available to Wade here in the NBA over that span of time.

And it’s also intriguing because of his ties with Li-Ning. What playing in China could mean for his financial endeavors is uncertain, but would likely help a lot. The big question would be, at 36, does he really want to spend 3 years over there?

We are pretty sure that both he and Udonis Haslem have standing offers to return to the team, but it is their decision. It’s why the Heat have not filled out the bottom of their roster.

It’s nearly time for him to make a decision.
