Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor wants to trade the disgruntled Butler quickly, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Taylor and Butler want to execute a trade by Minnesota’s first day of practice on Tuesday.
So far, Pat Riley and Miami have been as aggressive as any team in pursuit of a Jimmy Butler trade with Minnesota, league sources tell ESPN. Ownership still prefers to find a deal by early this week, sources said.

Miami’s media day is tomorrow. Should Miami trade away their best two-way player, Josh Richardson, for Butler, who may not give his commitment to re-sign with the Heat in the summer? On the other hand, Butler has been a Third-Team All-NBA player for the past two years. Can Richardson ever be that good?
