On the second night of a back to back, the Miami Heat head to the United Center to face a Chicago Bulls team who have yet to win in the month of January. Erik Spoelstra will be hoping his team can put the disappointment of last night’s loss to the Detroit Pistons behind them, by making it six wins out of last seven match ups against the Bulls - last coming via a 103-96 win in November. A victory tonight will also see the Heat’s season record return to .500, and if there ever was a perfect opportunity to bounce back to winning ways then this is the chance.
Chicago are currently on a 9-game losing streak, which is the worst among all teams in the league. They will also be without young rookie center Wendell Carter Jr - who has been ruled out due to a thumb sprain. Miami are 0-2 on their current 4-game road trip but will look to take advantage of a poor young Bulls team. Tonight’s game will also mark Dwyane Wade’s last ever NBA game in Chicago so the Heat will hope to give him a successful last bow in his home town.
