The Miami Heat (0-0) open the 2019-20 NBA regular season hosting the Memphis Grizzlies (0-0) tonight at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

Jimmy Butler (personal reasons) is out tonight and with Dion Waiters (suspension) also out the Heat are turning to not one but two rookies to be in the starting lineup. Coach Erik Spoelstra is continuing to start Meyers Leonard alongside Bam Adebayo up front as he has done during the preseason but the big surprise is not only is lottery pick Tyler Herro starting his first NBA game but so is undrafted rookie Kendrick Nunn as well. Maybe that 40-point performance in the preseason closer against the Houston Rockets convinced Spoelstra that Nunn instead of veteran Goran Dragic can handle it.
